Currency and credit cards

Currency in Croatia is Kuna (HRK). 1EUR ~ 7,3HRK, 1USD ~ 5,4HRK, 1GBP ~ 8,3HRK, 1CAD ~ 4,7HRK, 1AUD ~ 3,8HRK. Major credit cards, Mastercard, Diners, VISA, AMEX are acceptable in whole country. In the town of Murter there are ATMs of the three biggest banks in Croatia (Zagrebačka bank, Privredna bank and Reiffeisen bank) and couple of ATMs of smaller banks.

Visas

For citizens of EU, USA, Canada and Japan visas are not required. For citizens of other countries, please check at MVPEI web page.

Clothing

We’d suggest packing shorts, t-shirts, sandals, swim suite, sweater, light jacket and sneakers for hiking. Don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses and a helmet for biking.

Miscellaneous

Croatia is located in CET time zone during the winter (till late March) and CEST during the summer. Croatia’s telephone code is 385, and for Murter (located in Šibenik county) is 022. As for AC power plugs and sockets, Type F is standard in Croatia, but you might use Type E, Type C and Type E/F hybrid too.

Accomodation

The Apartments are fully equipped with all the essentials kitchen, terraces with sea views, TV’s, bathroom, bed linens, towels etc. Usually its two people per apartment but it also depends on the size of the group and their request. The apartments are in a very convenient location in close proximity to everything – beaches, stores, restaurants etc.
